Our care packages are thoughtfully crafted with essentials such as food, water, clothing, and hygiene products. Furthermore, our care packages always contain a special message, whether a handwritten note, prayer card, or list of resources to make them feel uplifted and inspired.

INSPIRATION

Including an element of inspiration or emotional support is how we differentiate our care packages. We try to provide items that will be meaningful to the individual. This may include personal notes, pictures, prayer cards, books, or maps with local resources. These items can provide encouragement, spiritual connection, cherished memories, and helpful information to navigate services and opportunities in the community.

ESSENTIALS

Our care packages for homeless individuals provide essential support with items that address warmth, nutrition, health, and hygiene. They might include hats, gloves, hand warmers, or foot warmers for cold weather protection, along with socks, shirts, pants, blankets, or sleeping bags for comfort. Non-perishable foods, water, and toiletries help with daily sustenance and personal care, while gift cards can offer flexibility. Our students also talk with the homeless as the packages are being distributed to get ideas for future items they may need. A recent example is when a man suggested tissues and cough drops for when they get sick.
